Portable Drops New EP Inspired by Legal Controversy
Controversial singer Portable recently surrendered at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) before being transferred to the Ogun State Police headquarters. He faced court charges including conspiracy,assault, and weapons possession, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The court granted him bail of ₦2 million and imposed a gag order, prohibiting him from discussing the case on social media. His trial is adjourned until March 5.
In typical Portable fashion, he took to Instagram shortly after, unveiling a teaser for his upcoming EP titled Ogo Wanted. The artist boasted about his music earnings, claiming they surpass those of “Yahoo boys” (a slang term for internet fraudsters).
