Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Ayodeji Balogun who is popularly known as Wizkid, has hit a new milestone in his career with his collaboration with Tems titled ‘Essence’ as it became the first African song to achieve an unprecedented record in the US.

‘Essence’ is officially the first and only African song in history to be certified 3X platinum by the RIAA after the hit song sold over 3 million units in the US alone.
